As a parent there are just some things that, when I see other parents do them, I rage.
Take into consideration the story of 2 year old Sumatran Ardi Rizal or you may know him as 'The Smoking Baby'
He's older than 2 now but that's not the point. He has been smoking 40 (count 'em) 40 freakin' cigarettes a DAY. Now some people look at this story and laugh, some just shrug it off to 'how they do it in that country' but no, this is such a parent fail I don't even know where to begin. WHY, why would anyone, knowing the dangers of cigarettes, even let their child be around cigarettes let alone put one in their mouth!?! The dad told the news people that 'they couldn't stop him' and 'he threw tantrums if he didn't get his cigarettes, so we gave into him'
WHAT. You are the parent, BE A PARENT!!! If my 2 year old kid decided she wanted to pick up a cigarette and put it in her mouth, I would smack that thing so far away from her she wouldn't know what was happening. WHO CARES if your kid is crying for a damn cigarette, grow a pair and tell him NO. Now the sad thing is this kid is probably going to die by age ten because all he does is smoke (and maybe eat a little too much for a 2 year old) but I guess his parents don't care about that because they don't even try to stop him. Sad.
Short Video about it.
Now this is why I wanted to write a post about this, apparantly his mom put him in rehab (Finally) and here is the video for that.
What do you guys think? I Hope he doesn't start smoking again.
OMG What a pimp ass baby.
ReplyDeleteJ/K that's horrible.
It's so unreal watching that little boy smoking them cigarettes. That child is too young for rehab to work, it's gonna take a lot of good parenting. D:
All the cholesterol from his over eating, fat and fatty tar crap from smoking along with clogged up lungs is going to seriously shorten his life :/
ReplyDeleteParents too afraid their children wont like them to be parents make me sick. Remember when it was the other way around?
ReplyDeleteI doubt rehab will be successful and unfortunately it will probably be short term if any progress is made.
ReplyDeletevery nice showing support
ReplyDeleteThis smoking baby stuff was Terrible
ReplyDeleteABSOLUTELY Awful. How could any one let their kid smoke at this age???
He'll be back. It's too addicting.
ReplyDeleteThat kid won't live to 20.

ReplyDeleteAn excellent example of parents not parenting.
ReplyDeleteI raged, I lost
ReplyDeleteew.. found any more cases liek this? :]
ReplyDeleteit's good he finally quit.
ReplyDeleteI saw this on... I think either Tosh.0 or Viral Video Film School on Current... I was just so... angered by this. Sure it was funny as a skit on a tv show, but when I thought about it, just goes to show you that child will be another brat (that probably won't live long).
