Smoking Baby

As a parent there are just some things that, when I see other parents do them, I rage.
Take into consideration the story of 2 year old Sumatran Ardi Rizal or you may know him as 'The Smoking Baby'

He's older than 2 now but that's not the point. He has been smoking 40 (count 'em) 40 freakin' cigarettes a DAY. Now some people look at this story and laugh, some just shrug it off to 'how they do it in that country' but no, this is such a parent fail I don't even know where to begin. WHY, why would anyone, knowing the dangers of cigarettes, even let their child be around cigarettes let alone put one in their mouth!?! The dad told the news people that 'they couldn't stop him' and 'he threw tantrums if he didn't get his cigarettes, so we gave into him'
WHAT. You are the parent, BE A PARENT!!! If my 2 year old kid decided she wanted to pick up a cigarette and put it in her mouth, I would smack that thing so far away from her she wouldn't know what was happening. WHO CARES if your kid is crying for a damn cigarette, grow a pair and tell him NO. Now the sad thing is this kid is probably going to die by age ten because all he does is smoke (and maybe eat a little too much for a 2 year old) but I guess his parents don't care about that because they don't even try to stop him. Sad.

Short Video about it.
Now this is why I wanted to write a post about this, apparantly his mom put him in rehab (Finally) and here is the video for that.

What do you guys think? I Hope he doesn't start smoking again.

Creepy Pasta

Read this creepy pasta and it made me sad :(

John and Mary were the proud parents of a newborn baby boy. Proud, but exhausted. One weekend they decided they wanted a night out for themselves, so they called Mary's aunt to come watch the baby. The day arrived that they were to go out. John had arranged to go to a play, then for dinner, then off to a hotel for a romantic evening. The play was due to start soon but Mary's aunt hadn't shown up.

"She'll be here in less than 15 minutes, Mary" John said impatiently. "Why don't we just go? Bradley will be okay."

Mary was reluctant but decided to go ahead. After all, what could happen in 15 minutes? So the couple went out and had the time of their lives. 2 days later they came home to find, to their horror, their baby sitting dead and bloated in the high chair the exact same way he had been left. They called the cops and soon an investigation was put into play.

It turns out that Mary's aunt had forgotten she had to baby sit until the last minute and rushed right over. She was speeding and ended up getting into a car crash. She died on the way to the hospital. The poor baby had been left to starve for nearly 3 days. The moral of this story? Don't leave before the baby sitter arrives!
